This premium quality extra virgin olive oil is produced, blended and bottled exclusively for us by award-winning olive oil masters in the Helshoogte Valley, Stellenbosch.
“Stellenbosse Nonnatjie” is a well-known 1885 Afrikaans song by the legendary Anton Goosen about a girl calling him back to the City of Oaks. Stellenbosch is also the place where Luuks! co-founders Edith Thiart and Ilse van der Merwe cemented their friendship while studying at the local university, sharing a love for good food and wine with great people.
Our olive oil comes in a 750 ml wine bottle with a beech wood cork top - testimony to the generous Mediterranean-style wine and food culture of the beloved historical town, Stellenbosch.
* Our current batch of extra virgin olive oil was bottled October 2021. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
